I have "received" so many ideas, mannerisms, characteristics, etc... from my dearest friend, my mother!! The one major talent I feel I have been able to give back to her is the knowledge of scrapbooking and crafting.

Are there people in your life that you have introduced to scrapbooking and have been able to influence them with your crafting talents? I'd love to hear your stories!!

Here's another vote for MOM.   My mom was an elementary teacher who went back to college for her teaching degree when I was in grade school.  I can vividly remember some of the craft projects she had to do as part of her course work.

One time she carved a whole city out of dry wall...it was 3-D and it was amazing.  Another time she designed and sewed 50 detailed puppets from felt for an assignment.  She always went above and beyond with any assignment and her creativity amazed me!

Being around that wonderful talent helped me become the person I am today...it opened up a whole world of creativity for me.  Thanks, Mom!
