I saw this "gold mica" paper at a craft store and instantly thought of gold coins. I did not have a stamp for a cauldron (well, except the ones with witches in them....come to think of it, I could have cut one of those out), so I just made my own pattern and cut it out of black paper. A fun to make and recieve card for St. Patricks Day!

Instructions

For the cauldron, I made a pattern by sketching the design on a piece of scratch paper. I folded the design and then used one side as my guide to cut out my pattern. This way, the design will be symetrical. I cut a piece of the gold mica paper an appropriate size to fit in the cauldron. The image of the leprechaun was colored with markers and dimensional magic added to his hat and shoes. Glitter was added to deisred areas. Stickers were used on the caudron and some detail lines were added with an opague white pen.

Sweet! Love the idea of cutting a witch out of a cauldron punch as well... hmm, have to go dig out my Halloween punches now! :)
