three embossing folders, four punches, vintage lace, ribbon and a pearl were used to make this mother's day card. I embossed the pink cardstock with a SU embossing folder, the bottom pink printed paper with a sizzix embossing folder, and then I embossed a small piece of brown cardstock with another SU embossing folder. I used a circle and scalloped oval punches for the hat (brown paper) and a smaller oval punch for the inside of the hat brim (white). Ran a small pice of matching Martha STewart ribbon around the brim of the hat, attaching in the back. I punched a small daisy out of some of the printed scraps of paper and added a tiny yellow pearl to the center. I put a strip of SU lace ribbon to hide the seam where the papers meet on the front of the card. Stamped the verse and matted it to the card front using the pink paper. Quick and easy!

I love this card. So pretty and I love the colors. Very inventive with the straw hat. Too cute!
