Select papers and embellishments that help reinforce the theme of your scrapbook page; in this case I chose patterned papers with stars and birds singing, as well as two music note punches to capture the excitement of my first praise team performance.
Instructions
STEP
1:
Select, crop and edit your photos. I chose to print mine onto a single piece of paper approximately 4 x 5 inches with a slim white border. Print and trim to size.
STEP
2:
Use a photo editing software to create the journaling and "to the" portion of your title. Select a background color that compliments your papers (I chose purple), and set text to white. Print and trim to size.
STEP
3:
Trim yellow singing birds paper to 11 x 11 inches square, and round corners with large rounder. Adhere to center of purple stars background paper.
STEP
4:
Trim strip of green patterned paper to 4 5/16 x 12 inches. Trim two strips of pink patterned paper, approximately 2 1/2 x 12 inches.
STEP
5:
Punch each pink strip with the circles large edger punch. Adhere pink punched strips to the back of the green strip.
STEP
6:
Adhere assembled strip to layout as shown.
STEP
7:
Align your photos, "SING" chipboard letters and journaling block atop the green strip and adhere each piece.
STEP
8:
Add "Lord" alphabet stickers to journaling block.
STEP
9:
Run a few lines of your adhesive tape runner across the back of leftover green patterned paper. Punch with both the notes petite punch and the musical symphony edger punch, being careful not to lose any of the pieces (with adhesive already applied) inside your punch mechanism. Add punched notes to journaling block as shown.
STEP
10:
Add glittered chipboard star to the top of your photo using a 3-D dot for added dimension.
