This project consists of an album for my Dad; of his life...he chose the color, and some of the pics have been transferred from another album he loved, but it was old and wearing out...

Instructions

STEP 1:

I am including photo's from Dads childhood, on through adulthood, his marriages to my Mom and stepmom, Grandkids, etc. The old photo's will not be glued down, but put on the pages with the antique black corners.

STEP 2:

My pics are generally put on tan or brown backgrounds; whatever goes well with each picture...then when I got to the modern pictures, I use whatever goes with what I put in the album. I didn't always put my more recent pics on solid cardstock before gluing to the page...

more realistic! older scrapbookers don't have money to waste on lots of pages with little on them

Other Supplies
  • I get my supplies at Target, Walmart, or Hobby Lobby(and occasionally through Creative Memories
  • Antique black photo corners
  • Stickers: themed and letters
  • all supplies used are acid free
  • Themed papers and cardstock-of archival era: blacks, tans, retro themes, etc
  • BLACK CORNERS: these are the type you slip the corners of the pics into after applying them to the page, not the stickers themselve that paste the pic to the page.
