This is a felt painting I created for my grand daughter Madeline. She and her mother are both angels to me so I made them angels.

Instructions

STEP 1:

Get the size foam pad you want your painting to be

STEP 2:

I needle felts a good layer of core wool first to add stability to my piece.

STEP 3:

I needle felted on the sky and the ground first then I layered the individual components next. One by one until I felt it was a complete work of art.

STEP 4:

When you needle felt some of the objects of you only need to needle them until they are tacked on because you will put this in a shadow frame. The shadow frame protects your felted painting from dust and anything else that would harm it.
