An easy necklace craft for tweens. This would make a fun project for girl scouts or birthday parties. While we used ballet slippers as an embellishment, you can choose which icons fit your personality!

Instructions

STEP 1:

Cut hearts from lined paper and cardstock, glue together, and punch two holes in them.

STEP 2:

Cut six 1 1/2” and six 1 3/8” circles from assorted patterned paper, glue together, punch two holes in the middle of each.

STEP 3:

Attach a button to each of the layered circles with pink ribbon.

STEP 4:

Thread 6 wool balls onto dark pink ribbon.

STEP 5:

Tie the layered circles on to the dark pink ribbon.

STEP 6:

Personalize the heart with a stamped name and sticker.

STEP 7:

Attach the decorated heart to the necklace, add tulle.

STEP 8:

HELPFUL HINT: To get the holes even on all the circles, fold a circle punched from scrap paper in half before punching. Unfold and use this template for all the circles.
