Big floral pins are all the rage now, so customize yours to go with that special outfit that needs a little something extra! Grab some felt, embellishments, a needle and thread (only if you want) and go to town making these. They will make a great gift year round!
Instructions
STEP
1:
Create a pattern for the desired shape of your flower. On the example, the shape of the cabochon was used and two of them were cut out. Using your pattern and sharp scissors, cut out your felt piece(s).
STEP
2:
If desired, a blanket stitch sewn around the outside edges adds a nice detail.
STEP
3:
Sew or glue the felt pieces together and then sew or glue the pin back to the back of the flower.
STEP
4:
Glue the embellishments on your pin and enjoy!
