Is SCS offered outside the United States?
SCS is currently available in several countries and territories outside the U.S., including Great Britain, Canada, Brazil, Australia, Singapore, South Korea, Phillipines, Malaysia, Puerto Rico, and Spain - please use our Store Search feature to find a detailed listing of our international SCS partners. How do I graduate from Spotted Canary School?
SCS is a series of 4 classes that can be taught in a four week time period or in an intensive weekend session - it all depends on your crafting skill level and the instructor's schedule. Upon completion of the program, you will receive a personalized SCS graduation certificate. (Graducation certificates only available to participants of the Scrapbook Design course.)
Who gives me my SCS graduation certificate?
The Certified SCS Instructor who taught your Scrapbook Design course is responsible for forwarding your certificate to you.
I want to teach! How can I become a Certified SCS Instructor?
We appreciate your interest in our education program, and are always interesting in finding talented and passionate instructors to teach the SCS classes. To apply, click on the Spotted Canary School egg at the top of the screen and select the "Become an Instructor" link. Please note applications are reviewed regularly by the SCS support staff and you will be notified in the event that we have an opportunity to teach near you.
I have been chosen by the Education Staff at my store location to be certified. Where do I go to begin the training process?
If you have been hired by your store location to teach SCS, you must first create a Spotted Canary profile. During this process you will be given the option to fill out an application to teach. Once the SCS support staff has received your application and it has been reviewed we will contact you with further information to begin your training.
How much does it cost to take the Certification Training?
There is no charge for Certified SCS Instructor Training.
How do I get paid for teaching?
All CSIs are independent contractors and are paid based upon the fee structure negotiated by both the instructor and the location they are assigned to
