Show off your Glass Art Design in a place you visit every day….your kitchen. This napkin holder will be both useful and beautiful.

Instructions

STEP 1:

Prepare the wooden triangle by painting or applying stain and varnish if desired. Allow to dry.

STEP 2:

Cut two pieces of the dowel longer than the width of your wooden rectangle, so they can reach across that width, plus go through the glass and into the beads.

STEP 3:

Apply hot glue to one of the side (longer sides) edges of the wooden rectangle. Quickly line up the glass art evenly with the rectangle and press into the hot glue. Repeat on the other side, making sure the glass art pieces are even with one another.

STEP 4:

Insert the dowels through the holes in each of the glass art pieces, so that a bridge is made across the napkin holder. This is to help the napkin holder be more secure. If you use larger napkins and do not want the bridge, leave it off.

STEP 5:

Using the permanent glue, add a bead to each of the four ends of the two dowel rods. Allow to dry. You can find different items that would enable you to create the stand for your napkin holder. Before trying the wooden rectangle, a soap dish was considered as a base for the napkin holder, so keep your eyes and mind open to the possibilities.
