Instructions
STEP
1:
FOR THE NECKLACE: Start by creating the components that will be strung onto the necklace.
STEP
2:
To create the crystal and pearl dangles: string the desired combination of crystals and/or pearls onto a headpin and bend to make a right angle with your Round Nose Pliers. In order to leave enough room to complete the loop, leave a bit of space between the crystal and pearl and the Round Nose Pliers when bending. From the right angle, make a plain loop. Thread a jump ring onto the headpin, cut the excess wire and close the loop. Make the desired number of dangles; we have added six to our necklace.
STEP
3:
To create the chandelier pendants: string one 8mm pearl and two 4mm crystals onto separate headpins and bend to make a right angle with your Round Nose Pliers. In order to leave enough room to complete the loop, leave a bit of space between the crystal or pearl and the Round Nose Pliers when bending. From the right angle, make a plain loop. Slide the open end of the loop onto one of the open circles on the chandelier component, cut the excess wire and close the loop.
STEP
4:
Cut a 20” strand of beading wire. Thread a crimping bead onto the wire, then thread the wire through the jump ring located the toggle clasp and back through the crimping bead. Secure by flattening the crimping bead using the Chain Nose Pliers.
STEP
5:
String the beads in the desired pattern.
STEP
6:
As you thread on the crystals and pearl near the middle of the necklace, add the dangles and chandelier components in the desired locations.
STEP
7:
Tip: You can also open the jump rings and secure them to the necklace once all beads have been strung.
STEP
8:
Once all beads have been strung, finish the necklace by threading a crimping bead onto the wire, then thread the wire through the jump ring located the toggle clasp and back through the crimping bead and the last two beads on the necklace. Secure by flattening the crimping bead using the Chain Nose Pliers.
STEP
9:
FOR THE EARRINGS: String one 8mm pearl and two 4mm crystals onto separate headpins. Bend the head pins to make a right angle with your Round Nose Pliers. In order to leave enough room to complete the loop, leave a bit of space between the crystal or pearl and the Round Nose Pliers when bending. From the right angle, make a plain loop. Slide the open end of the loop onto one of the open circles on the chandelier component, cut the excess wire and close the loop.
STEP
10:
Open the loop at the bottom of your ear wire. Thread the chandelier component onto the open loop and close the loop using your Round Nose Pliers to secure. Repeat to create the other earring.
