Do you just add them to a family album or make a separate album for each vacation? I like the idea of a mini album for each vacation, but would love to see what everyone else does!

What? No one took a vacation this year -- you could even scrap your staycation! I really like to use a mini album or a large tag album for individual vacations.
Numerous years ago we had an opportunity to go to Europe with a group of students -- we were there for 3 weeks. Since this was what I consider a 'once in a lifetime' trip -- I had to scrap everything -- it became overwhelming -- (since at the time I was new to scrapbooking,) It is a two 12X12 scrapbook set. TEE HEE!
If I had it to 'do over' I would edit more of the photos -- oh well live and learn!

It depends on how long the trip is. If it's a big one, it gets its own 12x12. Short, like a weekend, get an 8x8. I have started a 12x12 for older pictures that I took long before I even thought of scrapbooking to add several trips to. It's not the years in your life, but the life in your years that matter most
