Some very creative ideas using Pringles Cans

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Repurpose. In a world where waste is prevalent it can be fun to challenge ourselves to see what we can do with what we have on hand. For example, take the Pringles can and think about how cool the can is—its design, the lid, the shape and then think about what you can create with it. We came up with some creative ideas for a Pringles Can and know that you will come up with your own great ideas too.

If you enjoy making your own soap or always wanted to try the hobby but not invest in the mold, you can use a Pringles can and create round soap bars. Or, you can repurpose the container into a first aid kit, a utensil holder in your kitchen, or a place to store your seeds for planting in the spring or fall.

If you are looking for a way to use your can with your children there are even more ideas. You can create a decorated container for their room or the bathroom to store hair clips, or the craft area to hold paint brushes or other art supplies. You can make one with an army theme or a cars theme to hold smaller toys. If you wanted to seal the top you can add something to the inside and create a musical instrument (shaker) or you can cut a slit in the top for a bank.

You can take the can to the next level and add a hole and turn it into a birdhouse, or you can create some really cool marble painted art with the can. There are so many creative ideas for a Pringles can that next time you have one—don’t throw it out, make something fun with it. Go ahead and make something cool with your kids…or even something just for you!
