Have spare sheets of paper stock you're not quite sure what to do with? I often use them up making simple birthday cards with coordinating envelopes. Envelopes are easier to make than you think -- simple disassemble an envelope you like, trace around it on your paper stock, cut out using an x-acto knife and use a glue runner to tape. Use a strip of the same paper on the card front and a cutout with a simple stamp inside. I usually make up a bunch of birthday and thank you cards like this to have on hand.
